Arnis – Kali – Eskrima — Static Footwork Basic Drills – Barehanded
Mano-Mano – Panuntukan – Suntukan – Pangamot – Pakomot
As in many Serrada Kali footwork drills, most drills can be translated to Multi-Weapons or the training with many weapons or even no weapons at all as in the Barehanded.
Some schools of Arnis, Eskrima and Kali use the Spanish Term “Mano-Mano” when referring to these techniques. Some use the Tagalog terms, “Panuntukan”, “Suntukan” and some use the B/Visayan terms “Pangamot” or “Pakomot”.
As shown with the earlier Single Stick and Emptyhand (livehand) Single Person Drills (static footwork), the Barehanded Drills are performed almost the same as the Single Stick and Emptyhand Drills (static footwork).
With the small variation in the Barehanded, of the left foot forward, right hand upper/roof block, the palm of the right hand can be facing downwards if one wishes in the Barehanded.
This post shows the Right Foot Forward Forehand Counter barehanded drill. (RFFFC)
